Preparation for Closing:
1. Review and/or preparation of purchase and sales agreement
A purchase and sale agreement is a binding contract spelling out all the terms in the transaction. An attorney should review and/or prepare this agreement on your behalf to verify your best interests are being protected.
2. Title search and title commitment
A review of the public land records and title documents related to the property being purchased before you buy to ensure a free and marketable title. We will provide a title commitment and any necessary supporting documents to inform you about the Property.
3. Closing procedure & services
We communicate with all parties involved in a transaction to coordinate the transfer of all documents, calculate final figures, sign closing paperwork, and record necessary documents and disbursement of funds. In today’s busy times, it may be difficult to make it to a closing. No worries! We can accommodate a mail away closing or an out of the office closing. We will provide options so that you do not have to attend closing.
4. Issuance of Owners Title insurance
An owner’s title insurance policy is issued for the property “on paper” after the closing for the property.
